Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its rehabilitation services team. You'll plan and deliver treatment programs designed to restore and improve patients' physical, social, and mental functions while collaborating in an interdisciplinary care model.
Schedule & Duration
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- No call or weekend requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy interventions using appropriate clinical techniques and protocols
- Establish and communicate discharge plans to relevant care team members
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Supervise assigned therapy assistants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or foreign equivalent
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Two years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience preferred; five years preferred
