Med Surg Tele

Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Rochester, NY

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 4×12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

This Med-Surg/Telemetry unit requires nurses comfortable managing a mixed acute-care patient population with continuous cardiac monitoring. You'll be expected to interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, support rapid response and code team activations, and maintain proficiency in peripheral line care, oxygen delivery, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions.

Schedule Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units is required

Requirements

• Active New York RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and valid NIHSS *(must be included at submittal)*
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Electronic charting proficiency is a hard requirement
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Background reviewed on a case-by-case basis
