Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its busy cardiac catheterization lab. This is a 13-week contract role based in Denton, TX.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, days
- Rotating call (approximately 50% of the month)
- On-call responsibilities include evenings and weekends
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Unit Details
Clinical Scope
- Diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations
- Electrophysiology cases
- Interventional radiology procedures
- Experience with advanced cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, temporary pacemakers)
Requirements
- Current RN license
- ACLS certification
- Experience circulating in a cath lab (no scrubbing required for travel RNs)
- Assertive communication style and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Float Areas
You may float to the Emergency Department, Discharge Lounge, or other areas as needed within your skill set.
