Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Wichita, KS
This 13-week travel nursing assignment places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Wichita, KS. The position offers a 4x12-hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with every other weekend commitment and no on-call requirement.

Clinical Scope
You'll work in an active emergency department managing a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels. Float coverage to similar units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area may be required.

Onboarding Requirements Include
- Specialty and core competency exams
- EKG exam
- Color vision assessment
- StatStrip glucometer competency
- Immunization documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test, health statement, background check, and drug screen (11-panel)
- Education and employment verification
Candidates should be comfortable in a high-volume emergency environment and prepared to demonstrate clinical competencies upon onboarding.
