Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN — Travel Contract
Lubbock, TX | Nights | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekends required as needed
- On-call required per unit need
- Float between units required per census demands
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Clinical Scope
- Post-operative care management
- Wound Vac management
- Blood product administration and phlebotomy
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Peripheral nerve block catheter monitoring
- Traction management
- High-flow oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
- Pressure injury prevention; lifting and transfer assistance
- Rapid Response and Code team utilization
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MS/Telemetry RN experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Valid compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Dress Code
Solid navy blue scrubs required for licensed nursing staff.
Orientation
Approximately 12 hours; pre-start modules are required and completed prior to your first shift.
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at the time of application. Post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated.
