Laboratory Technologist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MT) for its night shift laboratory operations. You'll perform a wide range of laboratory tests, deliver accurate results to physicians, and support the facility's quality assurance and equipment maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests across waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing levels
• Report results accurately to support physician diagnosis, treatment, and disease monitoring
• Maintain laboratory equipment and participate in quality assurance initiatives
• Work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
• After probation, serve as a general supervisor for laboratory testing operations

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related specialty from an accredited institution
• Current certification/registration as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or eligibility for certification
• Strong knowledge of medical laboratory principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
