Labor & Delivery RN — Nights | Sioux City, IA

This 13-week travel contract places you on a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit managing high-acuity obstetric patients, including high-risk deliveries, in a high-volume setting. The unit sees 200–300 deliveries per month and requires strong independent clinical judgment and circulating skills.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-hour nights | 36 hours/week
• Every third weekend required
• Travelers must be available to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day); limited time-off requests during the holiday windows of 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• High-risk obstetric and high-acuity experience
• Circulating experience
• Experience at a high-volume delivery center (200–300 deliveries/month) within the past year
• Active Iowa RN license at time of submission
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (verified by driver's license)

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple completed travel contracts
• Fetal monitoring charting experience within an obstetric-specific module
