Travel PCU Nurse – Sioux City, IA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll join an interdisciplinary team providing clinical care to patients across a range of cardiac and critical conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
- Orientation Dates: November 9, 23, or December 7
Clinical Scope
Float Requirements
You'll float to all inpatient and ED areas. You may also be asked to float within your discipline across local campuses.
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Iowa or compact)
- 1+ years of PCU or similar acute-care experience
- Active BLS (AHA preferred)
- Active ACLS (AHA preferred)
- Active NIHSS Certification
- Current driver's license
- Mandatory reporter status
- One supervisory reference (within 2 years)
- First-time travelers welcome
Holiday Commitments
You must work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). Only one day off is available during each holiday window (11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27).
