Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). This is a 12-week contract role with potential for extension.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RRT
- Active NBRC certification (in hand at submission)
- Active BLS certification (in hand at submission)
- Valid Ohio RRT license (in hand at submission)
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
- Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine test (required within 12 months of start; updated annually)
- BCI/FBI background clearance (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
- Nicotine-free status required – no exceptions
Scheduling & Flexibility
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week
- Weekends as needed
- May float to multiple facilities as staffing needs require
- All time-off requests and scheduling preferences must be communicated during submission and interview
What to Know
- This is a smoke-free facility
- Facility does not accept candidates with license hits
- Contracts may be extended up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required thereafter (may be deferred by facility approval)
- Complete work history, including all previous facility positions, must be included in your application
