Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shift coverage. You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients recovering from surgery and acute medical conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 13, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- One professional reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from past 12 months; no co-worker references)
Clinical Scope
You'll deliver telemetry monitoring, assess vital signs, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient care plans, and apply clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Facility Requirements
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Background check and drug screen required
- ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation
- Competency-based modules required pre-start and annually
