Mother Baby Unit – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Mother Baby RN for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll join a dedicated perinatal team providing comprehensive care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a modern, private couplet-room environment.

Unit Details

The Mother Baby Unit features 34 private couplet rooms and operates with a team-focused culture. You'll care for 3–4 couplets per shift and work alongside a charge RN, fellow RNs, and support staff. The unit handles postpartum recovery, newborn assessments, lactation support, and procedures including circumcisions.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Proven experience in Mother Baby nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel nursing experience
• Experience managing patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
• STABLE certification

Clinical Scope

You'll provide direct care to recovering mothers and newborns, manage postpartum complications, monitor maternal and neonatal vitals, administer medications, and teach families about newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Floating & Flexibility

As a helping hand, you may float to L&D or NICU as needed.
