Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool — Nights

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced RN for a 16-week night shift assignment in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool. You'll work 12-hour nights (7 PM–7 AM), 36 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

Unit & Scope

You'll float across multiple Medical-Surgical Telemetry units, caring for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions requiring cardiac monitoring and intermediate-level care. This is a dynamic role requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour (7 PM–7 AM)
• Hours: 36 per week, 16-week contract
• Weekends: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Flexibility: Block scheduling may be available upon request but is not guaranteed

Requirements

• 2+ years recent acute Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• U.S. work experience requirement (2+ years for international candidates)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Willing to float to other units as needed per facility staffing
