Med Surg Tele

Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Rochester, NY

This 16-week contract places you in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for a diverse acute-care patient population requiring telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing management.

Shift & Scheduling

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Must maintain flexibility to meet unit scheduling needs

Float & Charge

• Float to other units as needed
• Charge nurse experience requested; training provided if needed

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS (current)
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
