Med Surg Tele

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Travel Contract | Charleston, WV

This 13-week day-shift contract places you on an active Med-Surg Telemetry unit managing a diverse mix of cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. The pace is consistent and the clinical scope is broad, making this an excellent fit for experienced RNs who thrive in a high-touch medical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days, 3×12 (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Float within scope as needed; blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; at least 1 year in Med-Surg or Telemetry
• New-to-travel candidates considered if experience requirements are met
• WV or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted for submission)
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility (75–99 miles considered case-by-case)

Required Certifications (AHA)

• BLS/BCLS
• ACLS

Additional Details

• Orientation held every other Thursday (approximately 16 hours)
• Scrubs: Royal Blue / White (RN)
• Free parking on site
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical exemption with documented allergist or physician record accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required at time of submission
