Cardiac Intensive Care Unit – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks a registered nurse for its Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) on the night shift. This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift & Scheduling

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: August 24, 2026

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a cardiac intensive care setting, managing post-operative cardiac surgery patients, acute coronary syndrome cases, and other high-acuity cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, patient assessment, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Texas)
• ACLS certification required
• CCRN preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
