About the Role
Join the newborn nursery team at the facility, where you'll provide compassionate care to healthy newborns and those requiring observation or intermediate-level support. You'll work alongside experienced nurses in a collaborative environment focused on family-centered care, education, and positive patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Assess and monitor newborns, including vital signs and feeding/elimination patterns
- Perform routine newborn screening and care procedures
- Educate parents on infant care, feeding, and health maintenance
- Collaborate with obstetric, pediatric, and lactation teams
- Document care and communicate clinical updates with the care team
Requirements
- Current RN license (VA)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in newborn care preferred
