Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift hours (18:30 – 07:00). This is a 13-week contract role based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- Active NBRC certification and BLS (required at time of submission)
- Current Ohio RRT license
- Nicotine-free status (facility is smoke-free)
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start date
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director (from assignments within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted)
- Willingness to complete BCI/FBI background check within 48 hours of contract signing
Schedule & Flexibility
- Night shifts: 3 x 12-hour (18:30 – 07:00)
- Weekends as needed
- May float to multiple facility locations as staffing needs require
- All time-off requests and scheduling preferences must be communicated during submission and interview
Important Notes
- All work history, including any previous positions at the facility, must be included in your profile
- Annual hands-on competency required if on continuous contract for 1+ year
- Contract extensions available up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows unless approved otherwise
- Candidates must be fully committed to all compliance requirements
