Med/Surg Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of November 13, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating 3x12-hour shifts: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Shift rotation subject to operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor scheduling preferences
• Every-other-holiday coverage required

Clinical Scope

You will provide care to medical and surgical telemetry patients. Float responsibilities may include units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to support the same patient population.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 12 months permanent, full-time experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or related specialty
• License: Valid Ohio license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Certifications (active and current):
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Orientation & Assessment

During orientation, you will complete:

• ECG rhythm recognition test
• safeMedicate assessment
• Both must be passed with an acceptable score (maximum 2 attempts)

Background & Compliance

• Clean background check required; no open cases
• No license hits
• BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• Eligible to extend for up to 18 months
