Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) — Day Shift
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced PICU nurse for a 13-week day shift assignment. You'll work in a high-census pediatric intensive care environment, caring for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Float required to PICU and CICU (Cardiovascular PICU) as census dictates
- Blocked weekend schedules available if willing to commit to all weekends (Friday–Sunday)
- Minimum of 2 holidays required during contract
- Time-off requests (max 5 days) must be submitted at time of application
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years PICU experience with exposure to CICU
- First-time travelers welcomed if specialty requirements are met
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Valid Ohio or multi-state compact license required
- Full COVID-19 and flu vaccination required — no exceptions
- Supervisor reference from past 2 years required
- Clean background (no license hits)
- Previous employees of the facility are ineligible for 1 year from termination date

Dynamic, fast-paced unit with high patient acuity. You'll receive a warm welcome and supportive interdisciplinary team. An additional background check and fingerprinting will occur on your first day.
