Medical-Surgical RN | Night Shift | Tulsa, OK

This 13-week contract (with potential for extension) places you on a medical-surgical unit providing care to a diverse adult and pediatric patient population, including patients on telemetry monitoring. The unit is well-supported by Patient Care Technicians, a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and dedicated monitor techs.

Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Clinical Scope:

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Carry out physician and nursing orders; assess discharge planning needs
• Coordinate care across multiple disciplines
• Manage patients requiring telemetry monitoring alongside general medical-surgical cases
• Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment

Schedule Expectations:

• Up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
• Holiday shifts required based on departmental need

Required Credentials:

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Current BLS certification
• Skills checklist and two professional references required at submission

Onboarding Requirements Include:

• Pharmacology and Medical-Surgical competency exams
• Core competency and color vision assessments
• Standard health clearances (immunizations, TB testing, drug screen)
• Background check and employment verification

Strong candidates will have recent medical-surgical experience, comfort with telemetry patients, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
