Emergency Room RN – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for day shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced setting, managing acute and emergent cases across all acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 3 x 12-hour shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Holiday Coverage: Must work at least every other holiday
• Start Date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent ER experience
• Current Ohio nursing license or valid compact state license (required at submission)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification preferred
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from work within the past 12 months required

Onboarding & Compliance

• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments required during orientation (two attempts to pass)
• Background check; no open cases accepted
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Annual Hands-On Competency training required for extended or returning contracts

Extension Opportunity

Eligible for contract extension up to 18 months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break (may be waived on a case-by-case basis).
