Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• Every other weekend
• No call required
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

The Role

You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels. You may float to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification required at submission)
• ACLS certification
• Willingness to complete facility-specific onboarding assessments including core competencies, EKG exam, and system training

Onboarding Credentials

Standard health screening and immunizations required, including MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and TB testing. You'll also complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and skills validation before your first shift.

What to Expect

Ceil blue scrubs. Documentation via the facility's EHR system. A structured onboarding process with clear competency checkpoints to ensure you're set up for success.
