Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Wichita, KS
This 13-week travel contract places you in a medical-surgical unit in Wichita, KS, caring for a general adult patient population across a range of acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
Floating
Candidates should be comfortable floating to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within the Wichita area.
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Required for Submission
- Active RN license (verified through Nursys)

Onboarding Requirements
- EKG competency exam
- Point-of-care glucose (StatStrip) training
- Core competency assessment
- Color vision assessment
- Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot); chest X-ray if PPD-positive
- Respiratory fit test
- Health statement
- 11-panel drug screen
- Criminal background check
- Employment and education verification
- Driver's License or State ID
