Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse — Wichita, KS

Shift: 4 x 12 Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedule: Every other weekend | No call required

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

About the Role

This Medical-Surgical night-shift position is based in Wichita, KS, serving a general med-surg patient population across a range of acuity levels. Candidates should be comfortable managing a varied med-surg caseload and adapting to different unit environments as needed.

Float Requirement: Candidates must be willing to float to comparable units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required at submission)
• License/certificate verification required at submission
• Two professional references required at submission
• Skills checklist required at submission
• EKG competency assessment required at onboarding
• Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit test, and health statement required at onboarding
• Background check and drug screen required at onboarding

This is a longer-term contract (90-week opportunity noted for permanent vacancy coverage) with strong guaranteed hours, making it well-suited for nurses seeking stability in a travel assignment.
