This is a 13-week travel nursing contract on a Medical/Surgical unit in Wichita, KS, with a November 2026 start date.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- No call

- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Unit Overview
You'll work in a Medical/Surgical setting managing a general acute care patient population. Candidates should be prepared to float to comparable units on the same campus or at another campus within the Wichita area.

- EKG competency exam
- Core competency assessment

- Point-of-care glucose testing (StatStrip)
- MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap
- Influenza vaccine
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot)
- Fit test
- Health statement
- Background check, EPLS, employment and education verification
- Driver's license or state ID
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Med/Surg nurse comfortable with general acute care, adaptable to floating within a multi-campus system, and confident working independently on nights.
