Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Location: Wichita, KS

Shift & Schedule:

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
• 4 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend
• No call responsibilities

Contract Details:

• 13 weeks
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: November 8, 2026

Position Overview:

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse to join its inpatient unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

Flexibility:

You may float to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Required Credentials & Licenses:

• Active RN license (Kansas)
• Current Nursys and license verification
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred

Onboarding Requirements:

Standard health screening, vaccinations (MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella), TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), drug screening, background check, and core competency assessments including EKG exam and electronic health record training.

Uniform:

Ceil blue scrubs

This is a straightforward assignment offering predictable night shifts and strong schedule consistency. Ideal for nurses seeking stability and minimal call obligations.
