Med/Surg Travel Nurse — Wichita, KS

This is a 13-week travel nursing contract in a Medical/Surgical unit based in Wichita, KS. The position offers night shift scheduling on a 4x12 rotation with guaranteed hours.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 4 x 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No call duties

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 8, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 (per week)

Unit Overview

This Med/Surg unit manages a general acute care patient population across a range of medical and surgical diagnoses. Candidates should be comfortable with EKG interpretation and point-of-care glucose testing. Float flexibility is required — you may be asked to float to similar units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.
