Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Details
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Location: Wichita, KS
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 4 days per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: November 8, 2026
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, supporting patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. You may float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.

- Current RN license (verification required)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to float to like units
Uniform & Systems
- Ceil blue scrubs
- Electronic health record system in use at the facility
Required Credentials & Screenings
Standard healthcare facility requirements include:
- Professional references and background check
- Current immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- EKG exam and core competency assessments
- EPLS certification
- Fit testing and drug screening
