Medical-Surgical Nurse

Location: Wichita, KS

Position Details:

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, four 12-hour days per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend; no call
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
• Start Date: November 8, 2026

The Role:

You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population across the acuity spectrum. You may float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Requirements:

• Current RN license (verification required at submission)
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Vaccinations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, Varicella
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test and health statement
• Background check and drug screen (completed during onboarding)
• Professional references and employment verification

What You'll Need:

• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with electronic health records (onboarding includes system training)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with weekend rotation
