Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work the night shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM), four 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend included. No call required.

• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Ceil blue scrubs

Scope of Practice

You'll provide direct patient care in the emergency department, managing acute and critical patients across all acuity levels. Be prepared to float to similar units on the same or other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Required Credentials

• Current nursing license (verification via Nursys required at submission)
• License/Certificate Verification

Onboarding Requirements

Standard facility onboarding includes specialty and EKG exams, core competencies validation, immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), tuberculosis screening, fit testing, background check, drug screening, and EPLS certification.
