Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Night Shift
Shift: 12-hour nights (3 x 12s) | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Aiken, SC (must reside within 50 miles)
About the Role
The facility's medical-surgical unit is seeking an experienced RN to join the night shift team. You'll deliver direct patient care across a range of acute care needs, managing assessments, treatment coordination, and patient education in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including comprehensive systems review
- Complete admission assessments within established timeframes
- Deliver competent, efficient care aligned with patients' acuity and treatment plans
- Provide age-appropriate care across diverse patient populations
- Document assessments and care interventions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state/district)
- 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- 2+ years of RN experience
- Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certification
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) NCI certification with Advanced Physical Skills Training
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotations as scheduled
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
