Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care in a med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring patients on continuous cardiac monitoring and managing a range of post-operative and acute medical conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13–20 week contract options available
• Start date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at submission
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from assignments within the past 12 months)
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine (cotinine) test within 12 months of start
• No open background cases or license hits

What to Expect

• Orientation includes module training and competency assessments
• Annual hands-on competency requirements may apply for extended contracts
• Potential to extend up to 18 months
• Background check (BCI/FBI) required within 48 hours of contract signing

Vaccines

COVID-19 and influenza vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available).
