Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

Join the facility's Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit for a night shift role caring for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight. This is an 18-week contract position working nights.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Contract Length: 18 weeks
• Location: Warrensville Heights, OH
• Start Date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active, permanent Ohio license or current compact license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from past 12 months)

What to Expect

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse population on a telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient changes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
• Complete facility orientation modules (pre-start and annually)
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)

Additional Requirements

• Background check and drug screening required
• No open legal cases or license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance required within 48 hours of contract signing

Contract Extensions

Eligible to extend up to 18 months; after which a 6-month break is required (may be deferred by client approval).
