Clinical Pharmacist – Visalia, CA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a 13-week contract position starting October 26, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- 4×10-hour shifts (Days: 07:00–17:00 or Mids: 13:00–23:00)
- 40 hours per week
- Float assignments across multiple units
Required Qualifications
- Current California Registered Pharmacist license
- Pharm.D. degree
- Inpatient: Completed PGY-1 residency or 2+ years of clinical hospital pharmacist experience
- Outpatient: Completed PGY-1 residency or 2+ years of clinical pharmacist experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Depending on assignment, you may work in:
- Emergency Medicine
- Infectious Disease
- Critical Care Medicine
- Ambulatory Care
- Family Medicine
- Oncology (outpatient infusion)
- Home Infusion
- Anemia Management

Key Responsibilities
- Review, profile, and dispense medications accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult with physicians and clinical staff to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient safety
- Conduct medication reconciliation and provide patient education
- Participate in interprofessional care rounds and quality improvement initiatives
- Train pharmacy technicians and other healthcare personnel
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
