CVICU RN – 12-Hour Night Shift
The Role
Join the cardiac care team at an independent community hospital offering 24/7 interventional cardiology services. You'll provide direct care to post-operative and acute cardiac patients in the CVICU, with flexibility to support the CCU when needed. This is a hands-on role in a smaller, mission-driven setting where you'll work closely with an experienced team committed to keeping patients in their community during recovery.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Rotating weekend schedule
- Call rotation: one call shift per two-week period
- 13-week contract
What We're Looking For
- Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 post-operative cardiac experience (required)
- Minimum 3 years critical care nursing experience
- Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Current flu vaccination (required October 1 – April 30; no exemptions)
Location & Housing
Located along the I-70 Corridor between Denver and Grand Junction. Newly remodeled furnished apartments are available within walking distance of the hospital, including utilities, Wi-Fi, and on-site laundry—move-in ready with no deposit.
