Night Shift RN – Orthopedic Unit

Location: Rochester, NY

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights

Schedule Options:

• 36 or 48 hours per week
• 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other week
• Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• No block scheduling; flexibility required based on facility needs

Contract Duration: 16 weeks (112 guaranteed hours)

About the Role:

You'll provide nursing care on a medical-surgical orthopedic unit, managing post-operative and acute orthopedic patients. This is a hands-on night shift role where you'll collaborate with day and evening teams, support charge duties (experience helpful but not required), and float to other units as needed.

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license
• BLS (AHA) and NIH certifications
• 2+ years recent acute med-surg, telemetry, neuro, and/or ortho experience
• 2+ years of U.S. work experience (required for non-U.S. trained candidates)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules
