Med-Surg Telemetry RN – Float Pool
Position Overview
Join the float pool as a Med-Surg Telemetry RN at the facility in Atlanta, GA. You'll provide care across multiple medicine and surgery units, rotating as needed to support diverse patient populations and clinical needs.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
- 13-week contract
- No requested time off (RTO) during contract period
Clinical Scope
You'll manage telemetry-monitored patients across med-surg areas, including post-operative recovery, acute medical patients, and those requiring cardiac monitoring. Float assignments require flexibility and strong foundational nursing skills.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in med-surg nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Active RN license (verified via Nursys)
- Electronic health record experience required
- Work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
