ICU / Burn Unit RN — Nights | Englewood, CO
This travel RN position is based in a specialized Burn Unit caring for a diverse patient population that includes acute burn patients across the medical/surgical, intermediate, and ICU acuity spectrum, as well as immediate post-operative and general medical/surgical ICU patients.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: Nights, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Unit Overview
The unit provides resuscitation and ongoing critical care for burn patients through their acute and recovery phases. Core procedures include ICU assessments, ventilator management, fluid resuscitation, wound care, and pain management. The team is close-knit, with a consistent charge nurse presence on every shift.
Certifications Required
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of current ICU RN experience (required)
- Experience with burn patients preferred but not required
Ideal Candidate
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable managing high-acuity patients across multiple phases of care
- Adaptable in a small, specialized unit environment
