Emergency Department Nurse
Assignment Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work the night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Clinical Environment
This is a high-volume ED with significant trauma volume. You'll manage a diverse patient population across all acuity levels, from urgent care to critical cases requiring immediate intervention. The pace is fast and dynamic—ideal for nurses who thrive in busy, varied environments.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Trauma experience required
- Active RN license (GA or compact state)
- AHA BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
