Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Pre-Op Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the pre-operative department.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Pattern: 4 × 9-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours
Responsibilities
You will prepare patients for surgery, including chart review, vital signs assessment, patient education, and IV access. You'll coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure smooth transitions to the operating room. Patient advocacy and comfort are central to the role.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- Pre-Op nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
