Contract Details
- Shift: PM | 3 × 12-hour shifts (3:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week with guaranteed hours
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
About the Role
This PACU position involves caring for patients in the immediate post-anesthesia recovery phase following surgical and procedural interventions. You'll monitor hemodynamic stability, manage pain, assess airway patency, and support patients through emergence from anesthesia before transition to the appropriate level of care.
Ideal Candidate Brings:
- Current RN licensure (Georgia license or compact eligibility required)
- Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care experience
- Strong assessment skills for managing patients across a range of acuity levels and surgical specialties
- Ability to respond swiftly to post-operative complications including respiratory compromise, hemodynamic instability, and pain crises
- ACLS and BLS certification (CPAN preferred)
Additional Details
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-turnover recovery environment
- Float and weekend expectations should be confirmed at interview
