PACU Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) nurse for a 13-week travel contract beginning November 16, 2026.

Schedule

• Shift: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (nights)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Guaranteed hours: Yes

Unit Details

You'll provide immediate post-operative care in a fast-paced recovery environment. Responsibilities include monitoring patients as they emerge from anesthesia, assessing vital signs and neurological status, managing pain and nausea, and preparing patients for discharge to inpatient units or home. You'll work alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to ensure safe, smooth transitions.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia)
• ACLS certification required
• PACU or post-operative nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic surgical schedule
