Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – 16-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 16-week contract assignment in Rochester, NY. You'll work nights on a dynamic unit caring for complex medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
• 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday shift required during contract
• Must be willing to work in a charge capacity (training provided if needed)

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care for medical and surgical patients with complex needs. Float assignments to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
• 1 recent year in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
• 2 years U.S. work history required for international candidates
• Residency more than 50 miles from the facility

Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Charge experience is preferred but not required; the facility will provide training.
