Night Shift RN — Med/Tele Complex Care

Unit Overview

Join a medical/telemetry unit managing patients across a range of acute and post-acute conditions. You'll provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and support patients through complex recoveries in a fast-paced night environment.

Shift & Scheduling

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
• Weekends: 1 shift per week OR 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Schedule Flexibility: You must be flexible to accommodate facility needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years acute hospital experience with at least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Residency requirement: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Role Expectations

• Charge experience is requested but not required; we provide training if needed
• You must be willing to float to other units as staffing needs dictate
• Willingness to assume charge responsibilities when called upon
