Cardiac Med/Tele – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Cardiac Med/Tele unit on nights. This 16-week contract offers a stable night schedule with flexibility built in.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekends: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: At least 1 holiday per contract
• Start Date: December 8, 2026

Unit Overview

You'll care for cardiac and telemetry patients in a med/surg setting, managing monitoring, medication administration, and patient education for this patient population.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2+ years acute hospital experience; at least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• 2+ years U.S. work history (required for international candidates)
• Willingness to work charge role (training provided; charge experience not required)
• Flexibility to float to other units as scheduled
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility

You'll be expected to flex with facility scheduling needs. Block booking may be available but is not guaranteed. This is a hands-on clinical role with clear expectations for collaboration and adaptability.
