Progressive Care Unit – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

Join the Progressive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse working nights. You'll provide care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention, with a focus on cardiac management and acute respiratory support.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other week
• At least 1 holiday per contract
• Block scheduling available upon request (not guaranteed)
• Contract duration: 13 weeks

Clinical Scope

You'll manage patients on cardiac drips, ventilators, and acute BiPAP support. Experience with post-acute care transitions, telemetry monitoring, and med-surg patients is essential. Charge nurse responsibilities may be requested but are not required.

Requirements

• 2 years recent acute PCU and med-surg/telemetry experience
• 2 years of U.S. work experience (required for international candidates)
• Recent hands-on experience with cardiac drips, ventilators, and acute BiPAP
• Active New York RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

• Schedule flexibility required
• Float to other units as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
