Operating Room RN – Circulating

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN for a circulating role in a busy surgical services department. This is an urgent backfill opportunity for candidates ready to start immediately.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8-hour days, 40 hours/week
• Call: 1 day/week (rotating schedule) + every 5th weekend
• Weekday call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend call: Friday 3:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Clinical Scope

You'll circulate a diverse surgical schedule including general surgery, GI, OB/GYN, orthopedic, ENT, urology, ophthalmology (cataract), and podiatry cases. Patient acuity ranges from routine outpatient procedures to complex surgical interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (New Hampshire)
• Minimum 1 year of circulating experience in an OR setting (required)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience (required)
• Experience with the case types listed above (required)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Work history documentation and supervisory reference from past year of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrub experience
• Prior travel nursing assignments
