Emergency Department RN — Frankfort, KY

This 13-week travel contract places you in an active Emergency Department in Frankfort, KY. The unit manages a broad spectrum of emergent and urgent cases, including chest pain, stroke, and trauma presentations.

• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Clinical Scope

The ED cares for adult and pediatric patients across a full range of acuity levels. The facility holds accreditation for chest pain management with primary PCI capability and is stroke certified, meaning you'll regularly work with time-sensitive cardiac and neurological cases alongside high-acuity trauma patients.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Kentucky or compact)
• Prior ED experience required; comfort with fast-paced, high-acuity environments essential
