Med/Surg-Tele RN – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a fast-paced admission unit. You'll care for general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures in a high-turnover environment where clear communication and independent practice are essential.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
- Admit and manage general medical patients and pre-operative surgical patients
- Monitor telemetry; manage acute care transitions
- Fast patient turnover; strong time-management skills required
Requirements
- RN license (active, current)
- BLS and ACLS certification (required before start)
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg or telemetry experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and work independently
- Work history with no gaps greater than 60 days
