About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in the facility's Medical ICU, managing critically ill patients with complex medical conditions. This role is ideal for experienced ICU nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive bedside nursing care to unstable and post-acute patients
- Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and clinical status
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to rapid changes in patient condition
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with night-shift leadership
Requirements
- Current RN license (NC)
- BLS certification required
- CCRN or equivalent ICU experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with ventilators, central lines, and vasoactive drips
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
